Hoyt Bow Qualities and Advantages
When you shoot a Hoyt bow you shoot with more confidence. Hoyt manufactures one of the best bows on the market. More competition shooters and hunters choose Hoyt as their bow, more than any other bow manufacturer. Hoyt’s record proves their worthiness as the top bow manufacturer. Hoyt bow shooters have won more competitions than any other manufacturer.
Hoyt utilizes split limb technology. The obvious benefit is weight reduction. The lighter the bow the easier it is to carry through the woods or tournament trail. Split limbs also reduce noise, vibration, and are more durable than their solid limb counterparts.
The durability of solid limbs doesn’t even compare to that of split limbs. Solid limbs start to fail around 25 dry fires. The problem with solid limbs is that there are weak points. One is in the V-groove where the cam mounts. The other weak point is where the limb mounts to the riser. Cracks start to develop in both areas.
By removing the weaknesses of solid limbs a split limb system will last to around 1000 dry fires. This is proven by controlled lab tests. By removing the need for a V-groove to mount the cam, a weak point is eliminated. Keep in mind you should never test on your own bow. You wouldn’t want to hurt your bow, or worse yet, yourself.
Hoyt bows have some other great features also. The TEC design decreases low frequency vibration while the Riser Shox reduces ringing vibration in the bow after you shoot. Shooter comfort is affected by vibration when taking repeated shots.
Hoyt offers 20 different compound bow models to suit anyone’s needs. From ultra fast, ultra light target and hunting bows, to the compact youth bow. Each model comes with many different customizable settings, so if you can’t find a Hoyt bow that is perfect for you, you shouldn’t be shooting bows at all!
If shooting recurve bows are more your thing, you can choose from two Hoyt hunting recurves. There are also 5 different competition recurve models with many different limbs to choose from.
If you want to shoot to your full potential then it would be wise of you to try a Hoyt today. You will see and feel the quality as soon as you put the bow in your hand.

Hi, I just bought a Hoyt TurboTec 2006, 75th anniverary addition bow- It has a different look on the riser compared to the reg. 75th anni. bow. Is this something special on this bow. Basically it has antlers within the hole spaces on the riser…. Sort of look like flames as well as antlers.
