I have personally always liked PSE. They make a quality product (in your price range) and stand behind their bows 100%. My friend recently had a limb ***** on his PSE bow when he dropped it from a tree stand. In spite of the fact that it was not a “defective” part, the company replaced the limb free of charge. In my humble opinion you can’t beat a company like that.

PSE = Poor Shooting Equipment
Go with a Bear.

I’ve always been a fan of Hoyt bows and have owned several. I currently have a Hoyt Defiant. It’s about 8 years old but I love it. I would go to an archery shops and test a couple out to see what fits you best and feels comfortable.

Yes you can buy a Hoyt or Matthews for $700, but that’s just the bow. Then you have to spend more on arrows, broadheads, release, rest, sight, etc. I suggest spending time at the local range and talk to other archers there and see if they will let you try their equipment. Or go to a good archery store and try out bows there.

PSE is a good brand to go with. I also like Browning. The limbs on the new bows are so wierd-looking to me. I prefer the more traditional look, but hey, that’s just my opinion. But both of those are good brands to go with. You won’t be dissappointed.

Shoot all the bows you can and see what one you like the best. Then when you are ready to buy, you will never regret the decision you made. Just make sure you get fitted by someone who knows what they are doing. A pro shop will be your best choice over a chain store. Most times the person who sold you the bow is already been fired or moved on to another job.

Also in the used bow section of there are some really good deals in there.

Good luck and enjoy.

yes you can by anyone of those for 600-700 dollars but ur newer mathews are in the $849 range. But i would look at a Bear. They are really good bows for the price. Bear has come along ways with there products and can compete right up there with ur mathews,bowtech, or hoyts. So i would maye consider a bear
