Mathews are good bows, but you’re paying for the name. I have shot the new Drenalin. It’s ok. I didn’t care for the narrow grip. Personal preference. My brother bought the PSE x force 7. If you’re into speed, it can’t be touched. Nothing is even close. He chronoed his hunting arrows at 338. You have to see speed like that to believe it. Personally, I bought the Alpine Silverado. Looks amazing, fast, accurate, smooth. everything you could want in a bow. If it was a Mathews instead of an Alpine it would cost you an extra $400. I owned an Alpine Frontier. Nothing fancy, but it was a good bow for the money.

There are more places to find the best bows money can buy…
And these are only a few of them.

Really, the best bow you can buy is the one you happen to like the best — because YOU are the one who is going to use it. It’s like asking which is the “best” fruit: One fella might say apples are best, and another fella says peaches are best — but YOU might think tangerines are best because you happen to like tangerines more than apples and peaches.

My own personal choice of “best” bow in the universe is the one I make myself, for my own use.
